This is my current dilemma: Photoshop. I sit down to do some 'real 'art' and I think, 'I'll have 5 mins to just fiddle with that digital piece I was doing first'. Four hours later....pffttt. It's mixed media without the mess! To be fair to myself it's actually only 14 months since I picked up a paintbrush after 25 years. It's only 7 months since I started learning Photoshop and all the lovely stuff inbetween. I have a tub of plaster currently sat on my art desk and two large sticks on the sideboard, more juicy projects I'm in the middle of doing. I need more time to mess, to learn, to practice, to dabble and fiddle, to create. What did I do before I discovered art again? I cannot now imagine. It's the first thing I think about when I wake in the morning. I have a ton of ideas and a million courses I need to get on with and a squillion projects on the go. I am torn between which to do first and currently PS is winning but I'm good with that. So tonight I played with a face I've been altering on and off for a few weeks. Tonight it just happened. Mixed media in my journal just appeared on a Photoshop canvas.
