Art supplies

I need to be rich, there is just no doubt about it! I cannot stop buying art supplies. I must have bought something nearly every week for the past year and I can STILL keep on buying. Last week I purchased and put together a 5 drawer tallboy just to store everything. This week I managed to get my hands on some Prismacolor Premier coloured pencils. A tin of 24 for £15 on amazon which is an absolute bargain. Assuming they're not fake? I'm sure Amazon is fairly strict on these matters? Anyway did I even need them? Probably not, but anyone who is even bothering to read this blog will know that, yes I did. Of course! I'm away to Hobbycraft in the morning to pick up boxed canvases, watercolours and yet more gesso. Do I really NEED these right now? Ermm no but I've got a 20% off voucher sooo. Twice today Jackson's art supplies ( and no I'm not affiliated in anyway I just always buy from them and SAA depending on who has got the offers on) have posted 'must haves' over facebook. Some new mixed media journals by Stillman & Birn which I know I'm going to have to buy over the next couple of weeks even though I have a brand new Bockingford sat on my table right now. Pastels though are my weakness. Soft, buttery, messy pastels. Senneliers are on offer! £85 instead of £130 for a set of  120. Can you imagine? How luscious. Even better than wine and other things!img_0384img_0386
